So far today has been pretty awesome and while I don't have the time to list all of the awesome things, let me just say that I love my landlady, because she not only took me to Ikea so that I could look for a desk for my room, no she also paid for my food and drink there. She also randomly bought me fruit and chocolate the other day, just because!
Now something I created yesterday, a Merlin manip that is not stripper!au related and can therefore actually be posted. Because
zarah5 promised, I present you with the perfect excuse to write me more wingfic.

“Merlin, just what-- oh.”
Merlin scrambled to hide and fell off his bed as his door came open, banging his knees on the hard floor. He knocked over his bedside table as he stumbled to his feet and had to disentangle his leg from his blanket.
Arthur stood frozen in the doorway, grey feathers falling to the floor in front of him, a bare-chested, flustered Merlin posed with wings spread wide.
“Arthur,” Merlin gasped out, and Arthur watched as Merlin's wings folded in on themselves, trying and failing miserably to hide themselves behind Merlin's back.
The silence stretched out far too long for Arthur's liking. “So. This would be why you neglected to show up for work this morning.”
Merlin's head dropped. “Yes, um.” In a moment of rarity, Merlin seemed to be speechless.
Closing the door behind him, Arthur stepped forward. “Is this some kind of magic?”
Merlin nodded and mumbled something, of which Arthur thought be heard the word 'misfire.' The wings rustled behind Merlin, and Arthur put a hand on one of them. Merlin's head whipped toward him and the wing shuddered under Arthur's palm.
“Do they work?”
Merlin gave an exasperated sigh. “I don't know, I can't exactly go flying over the castle for a lark, can I?”
Hiding his smile, Arthur stroked his fingers over Merlin's feathers. The wing twitched away from his touch.
“Stop that,” Merlin snapped.
“Why?” Arthur's eyes narrowed. He stealthily reached out and pet the wing again. Merlin made an odd noise and his feathers ruffled. He pulled away from Arthur even as Arthur smirked. “They're ticklish, aren't they?”
“No,” Merlin blurted. He crossed his arms over his chest. Arthur moved closer until he could feel Merlin's body heat.
“I like them,” Arthur said. Merlin begrudgingly unfolded his arms and Arthur placed his hands on the smooth skin above Merlin's hips. He smiled and kissed Merlin briefly, prompting Merlin to smile back sheepishly. Merlin looped his arms around Arthur's waist and pulled him in, pressing them together, his stiff posture beginning to relax. His wings slid down, curling around them both. The warmth they trapped was comfortable and Arthur found his eyes closing while he bumped his nose against Merlin's cheek.
Then he shoved his hands into the soft feathers behind Merlin's shoulder blades. And tickled.
Merlin squawked and abruptly pushed him away. He lunged after Arthur, but Arthur was already out the door, a devilish smirk on his face and Merlin's curses ringing behind him.
